Far from being a district government school serving local students only, in this twenty-first century Sheung Shui Government Secondary School after her 20th anniversary is also shouldering the responsibility to provide quality education to mainlanders crossing the border everyday, and helping them mix well with the local schoolmates and learn together pleasurably. This is our special mission. That school is a place to provide opportunity for all students to unleash their potentials is the core value shared by our teachers. As our students' behaviour and attitude in learning show promising improvements, our next target is to foster their academic achievements and other learning experiences. This can be attained by providing a caring and harmonious environment here for our students to learn, make friends and play and set with them clear personal goals, which will help them overcome hardship amidst adversity, strive hard and be self-strengthened to achieve the expectations of parents and society.
